Taking your driving test in Newbury
When compared to Berkshire’s 2 other test centres, Reading and Slough, Newbury offers learners an extremely more rural drive. Of course, this doesn’t indicate it’ll be sleepy lanes all the way– Newbury is likewise home to its reasonable share of busier roadways, including the A339 dual carriageway which traverses the town north to south.
One important element to note here is that the Newbury test centre is found on Hambridge Lane, a couple of miles east of the centre of town. In fact, it’s rather near the Newbury Racecourse– so watch out for additional traffic on race days. All in all, you can definitely anticipate varied conditions on both your driving lessons and when taking to the road after passing!
